Outdoor Wellbeing

Saturday 10 June – 10.00-3pm – Location: Malvern. Taking your coaching and practice outdoors – Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for teachers, coaches or anyone involved in outdoor practice.

The aim of the day and focus will be walk and talk, using metaphor in nature, using natural resources, mindfulness incorporating a fusion of mind-body exercises, an introduction and insight into Forest Bathing, known in Japan as Shinrin Yoku. Forest Wellness – Saturday 1 July 2023 10.00-3pm.

An introduction to forest bathing. Walking, Mindfulness, Pilates, Yoga, outdoor therapeutic techniques for vitality and well-being.

There is much evidence to suggest that exposure to nature can reduce high blood pressure as well as improve vitality and mood, mental wellbeing such as anxiety and stress as well as restore attention and mental fatigue. Coaching sessions are conducted on a 1:1 basis and tailored for the individual.
